  • I have an Alaska Sawmill that cuts the cants pretty slick. I bought it 30 years ago. Haven't used it in a while - have to take some vids. Are you grinding off every third tooth on your chain for ripping?

  • @huerdon --- yeah, I finally filed me down a chain...thanks to my buddy FRUNTCASTER... But I've got a secret weapon up my sleeve for slabbing these logs and making more of these picnic tables...I'm gonna release that bad boy on ya soon, so you'd better keep watching!

  • This reminds me of how much I need to move to a place that has some trees.

  • @stringsbytoby Right on..there're plenty of trees around here, that's for sure! These are all coming off one of the burn scars west of here. Saving them from the fire twice. hahaha

  • often wondered how to make my own picnic table, can't wait to see the next 2 vids. Mitchell. Lots of work goes into "slabbing your log", isn't it?

  • @EcoPaintSpecialists1 Yeah buddy, it's real easy...Anyone with a chainsaw and a log can make their own picnic table and more. I'll show you. Making your own log furniture is fun and easy and you can save a ton of money! =)
