Here is my newest song called "Low". It is performed on my Spector Rebop 4DLX FM running through my Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live processor into my Hartke HA3500/TP410 rig. I'm also using Rotosound Swing Bass 66 strings (.45 - .105).

  • great song :)

I am going to buy that bass in 5string version

    greetings from Czech republic :))

  • @seba330 Thanks Seba. I have been wanting to get a 5 string ReBop myself for quite some time. I had a 2004 Spector Legend 5 that was awesome, but it weighed a bit too much (I'm a little guy @ 5'7" 165 lbs.) and then went to a Schecter Stiletto Custom 5 which was nice. I recently traded the Schecter in on an Ibanez SR506 6 string and I am currently battling trying to get it to mesh tonally with my Spector ReBop. Best of luck to you with the ReBop 5, I bet you'll have a blast with it!

  • Love this song, lovely bass too.

  • @DreadAlert Thanks. I wrote this for a friend of mine. He was having a tough time in his life and expressed some very deep sorrow and remorse. By the end of our conversation I had the intro pretty much finished in my head and I went and grabbed my Spector to figure out the rest. Thanks for listening/watching!

  • @bbuck822 at some point i preffered flatwounds, but with my rebop i have .45-.105

  • @elishenell No worries. What kind of strings do you prefer?

  • @bbuck822 @bbuck822 Yeah, I too actually have a rebop and a hartke combo ;) I like the tapping btw! And it looks like I deleted my comment too, wasn't intentional...

  • @elishenell Thanks elishenell for checking me out. I experiment with several different tones and use all kinds of settings. The brightness of my tone for this song was used to capture that high harmonic I use throughout the song during the intro section. I am using a Spector bass through a Hartke rig so brightness is kinda inherent with the equipment selections.
