As you will see in the video, you may control the motorized shades with a wall-mounted keypad; in this home shade controls are combined with the Lutron HomeWorks lighting control keypad. Alternate control is via the home's AMX home automation system's touch panels and handheld remote controls.

Motorized shades are great for retaining views while at the same time giving privacy. Motorized shades are also useful in cutting down unwanted heat gain and sun damage on sensitive interior fabrics and furniture. This feature may even be automated...a "smarthome" system can due this automatically based on the sun's position in the sky!
