hmm should i upgrade from dual to quad core on the same mobo, or get i7 mobo and i7 processor.. i gues I'll wait to see a mobo with usb 3.0 and fire wire 800 first.
I've heard from an Intel employee that first generation USB 3.0 flash drives will be rated at about 365mb/sec. You read that right. He hinted also that this would be the speed of Intel SSD, sometime in 2008/2009.
10 times faster then todays technolgy, eg a sony memory stick does 9mbps write and 8mbps read i think so these new ones can do 80mb per second, therefore you can copy a 4.7gb movie onto your usb in 58.75 seconds
DAYUM
I'm so getting a USB 3.0 motherboard.

Kanguru King Kong USB 2.0 flash drive reads at 60mb/sec (480 megabits/sec). USB 3.0 read potential is 600mb/sec (4.8 gigabits/sec).
