How did you have the video camera attached? Head, chest or holding it? We are going in a couple weeks and I wanted to get a shot and not sure the best way to deal with the camera..

@TracyGuichard The camera in this case was being held by hand by the guide who was galloping behind us. Not an easy thing to do while avoiding aardvark holes! My daughter purchased a helmet cam for her next trip, but I would recommend practising with it before you go. Have a great trip!

lol can u rent horses in africa? that black horse looked like he/she was having fun!!! haha did u catch up to the giraffes?? (: favorite!!

@BreyerGurl09 This was a 10 day safari where we camped with the horses and rode many miles each day. The horses were wonderful. We kept up with the giraffes but did not get in the middle of them. They can kick the head off of a lion.

For those who are wondering about the riderless black horse, he was along in case one of the other horses became lame as this was a long travel day. We covered about 35 miles with no vehicle support. This horse was a bit of a problem as he liked to cut quickly in front with no warning. This herd of giraffe had over 50 in it, which was unusually large. The person filming this was our guide.
