LoL? I've driven dozens of TDIs but not only TDIs', HDIs', CDI's and so on. A couple of years ago they used to make that nasty typical diesel rattling. I'll never forget that.
And how exactly is Jetta TDI sporty? First of all, it's a Jetta, secondly it's a diesel. I will admit that diesels can feel sporty and even smoother than petrol engines, but you have to get a 6cyl at least.

It's about time they redesigned the XJ! the current one hasn't changed much compared to the original... I hope they don't ruin it like BMW did with the E60 5-series
