IMO Super R-type was kind of a dummied down version of R-Type 2.
you should get R-TYPES for Playstation1 and you can contrast and compare.

@GeneralSirDouglasMcA I think it was Super R-Type that was released in 1992 for the SNES, though I think it could have been 1991, I'm not too sure.
