@xSonntox These treaties which allowed Britain to keep HK island and Kowloon, was cancelled out by the 1984 treaty - Deng, (now deceased) declared these treaties null and void and demanded a new treaty which would allow China to take full sovereignty over HK. Once both Britain and China signed the new treaty in 1984, these two treaties legally null and void and won't recognised by countries all over the world.
