The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) unveiled its new Public Observation Area located in the public, pre-security area of the Domestic Terminal and free for all visitors. Featuring interactive exhibits and unobstructed views of the airfield out to the Strait of Georgia, the Observation Area is set to become a destination for travelers, meeters and greeters and members of the public.
@xoxlalaxox14 I bet you've found it by now, but if you care, just go to the domestic drop off, and walk back until you are past the shops, and go up the escalator. There are maps on the YVR website as well. :)

Very good observation area. If only Heathrow and Gatwick UK could have something similar after all these years of snubbing the enthusiast! BAA you should be ashamed of yourselves.

uhh, I don't really like the observation area that much, you can't really see any of the big planes like British Airways and JAL. But I do like the BC flyover game.
