  • amen

  • natural resources have nothing to do with actrual "richness" as you can see. It's up to the people to do what's necessary and if that means uprising or taking the power into their own hands let it be. but they are also the same ones who refuse to educate themselves and take advantage of the resources around them . plumbing is an ancient technology that requires very little effort or science to create.

  • look at afghanistan and iraq.... held back by theology and ideology. religious extremism is a cancer. especially when coupled with a theocracy.

  • it has nothing to do with money or lowes but inteligence and ability to work and reclaim, then use the resources that lay all around them , but religious extremism occupies so much of their time that they do not do so. life takes work. nothing more nothing less. this is why usa is #! because we work night and day to achieve . nothing more nothing less.

  • these people have more natural resources than the rest of the planet per capita and per mile. there is no excuse for this.

  • people are kept from being productive not by forced theology or ideology but because some people see the weakness of people in developing countries and exploit it for wealth and material income.

sounds like your hurling more insults then serving up ideas. and idea would be , hey, lets buy a box of chlorine tablets, prolly 200 for two dollars and send em over to Ghana.

Religious fanatacism doesnt exist in south america, and they thirsty.

    figure it out pal

  • hello iq 165 have been more place and seen more things than you will see in several lifetimes. it is their own fault. nobody is holding anybody down , except for the imans whos preaching and forced theology which keeps the people from being productuve. inteligence is nothing more than manipulation of materials, it's the time factor being up with praying 12 times a day that is definatly a factor. thing is which plant do you live on? only narrow minded people hurl insults instead of ideas. ;-)

  • Jesus, circusboy, what a narrow minded comment you gave! Do we live in the same world? You should rule the world, man! "Get with modern times" en "Get with technolgy" and problem solved. These good people are kept poor, not by religious extremism (as if everybody except you were an extremist), but by the indifference and the unwillingness of the rich in this world. If you say "It's their own fault", then who's the extremist? If plumbing does not cost that much, than plumb yourself a brain.

  • There is no Lowes hardware for miles and miles, so transportation of supplies is a significant cost for fuel and vehicle rental. And then there is the education factor, then dont know geology or how deep the water may be. Or how to build a pump with check valves. At least the Christians are helping others. I dont know of an atheist group doing this, so my hat is off to the Christian groups that are helping others.
