  • holy crap, that looks like so much fun

  • These vehicles aren't Austrian built! They have been built in Britain since 2000. Check out Automotive Technik who moved production from Graz to Guildford England more than 11 years ago.

  • Song ?

  • I want one sooo bad, ever since I first saw one in that stupid thor movie. bad ass vehicle

  • сумасшедший БАТОН

  • Love Pinzgauers.... Hate this song.

  • And you know what's funny about this thing? It has only 64 kW (87 hp) a topspeed of about 80 km/h and it says it can have a maximum weight of 1500 kg... nevertheless we (Austrian Army) drove this baby in kosovo with more than 2500 kg weight up some stone stairs.

  • OH YEAH

this vid is put together quite well BRAVO

Land Rovers carry less and are less capable.

The portal axle on the Pinzgauer gives it a lot more clearance, since the axle is not actually lined up with the center of the wheel, but above it.

This gives it the ability to go over much larger obstacles. Its front clearance is also more exposed, allowing it to grab very steep obstacles and go right over them.

    They're also cheaper.

The only real drawback of a Pinzgauer that I've seen is its top speed of 65-70 mph in general.
