  • On the outside it appears that sane logical people are few and far between in the Tea movement.

They have to be getting huge sums of cash from somewhere, and it was found to be mostly the Koch bros and other corporate scum, if they are involved with Tea, Tea has been corrupted.

    Tea is Toast.

  • @FightTheCorporations, FLEAbaggers suck off the welfare teat! LOL!

  • @eric8542011, TEA Party is not a political party, it is grassroots. There may be some who make a website and purport to be TEA Party Express, or TEA PARTY Inc, etc, but they have no clout. They may list a calendar of TEA Party events, but that's it. There are no "TEA Party Spokespersons" traveling a circuit, funded by the millions of US dollars, donated by TEA Party members, it just ain't going on.

  • @borderraven, the tea party is a right wing movement funded and supported by right wing organizations and politicians. I've never heard any Democrat supporting the tea party.

  • TEA Party is not a political party, it is a meeting venue for voters of all political parties.

  • This video only proves the stupidity of you progressive liberals in this country!

  • @gyniest Or they believe in the "slippery slope" - if we allow them to raise taxes now, it'll never end. Governments always want to expand, they're power mad, the evil bureaucrats are using class war to self-aggrandize. Soon I, we, will all be slaves to the Marxist regime in Washington! Even if they also want to tax us, well, we don't want to pay more, and we have to send the message that they can't steal our money, even if it means flushing the political system with our cash right now.

  • My question - Would the billionaires actually save money if they're spending money on tea parties (in additional to all the lobbying groups) than what they would pay in tax raises? I don't know. I think, even if they knew flat out that they didn't save money in the longrun, they'd still behave as they do, politically, for ideological reasons. They want to give as little as possible, if at all, to the federal government.
