  • Look, Papa, the swimming pool is not even finished! And we can't go out in the water 'cause we no longer have the yacht! Oh, do tell, what must we do Papa?

    I love this show.

  • IT's the fact that he lost 3 billion dollars.. not the fact that he has 3 billion left.. I wouldn't say he's an asshole.. But i have no explanation for the unfinished pool..

  • @MacabreManifesto Screw being a Republican, I'd buy Fox News, turn it into a proper news channel and enjoy in a good dose of Schadenfreude watching all the right wing nutjobs literally lose their nut.

  • Man how can you be depressed with 3 billion?!

    What the F?!

  • HELLO!!! Just because someone is a technical billionaire doesn't mean anything. Not everyone with a high net worth has LIQUID wealth. That is obviously the case here because with 3 billion in cash you would be able to finish the pool and you wouldn't have to sell the yacht. So obviously this guy went from having access to cash (liquid wealth), to not having that much of it anymore. I'd be a bit down if that happened to me too!

  • Wait a minute, 3 billion, and let's say that you only grew that at 2% interest, you'd make 60 million a year. Let's take off 25 million for taxes, you make 35 million a year 35 million / 365 days = $95890.41 a day. You couldn't spend away your fortune if you spent $100,000 dollars a day, since he probably makes twice that much. What a douche nozzle.

  • @eyesack9 So you'd buy a Republican? Wait, that explains everything.

  • 23 depressed rich fucks!

  • @turak0 Consider this - poverty is the default position for mankind. We spent almost our entire history in desperate poverty. The question isn't why is anyone poor, the question is how did anyone ever get rich? In a free market system, they get rich serving their fellow man, providing goods and services they want. In Fascism one gets rich by having ties to the government, and using force to steal money from others. People want the best for themselves - a system that ingores that fails.

  • Even rich people are people. This is lost when on a lot of people when they're calling to punish the rich and redistribute their wealth. According to the nonsensical views put forward in this video, no one in the United States should ever be depressed. We are economically so far beyond the 3rd world, and certainly the whole of human history, that we should never let anything bother us. Humans don't work that way. They're entitled to their feelings, even if they are rich.

  • I'd be very happy to have just 1 million dollars;

    I put it at the bank, a special kind of interest they have in my country that gives 10% per year, and I'd live of the interest; I'm not sure I would be rich, in the sense that I could buy any crap that I could think of, but at least I'd be free.... I wouldn't have to work unless I wanted to; and I'd only work when I want to;

  • Cenk, depression isn't something to laugh at.
