@billy1212ist Yep, this is what these old film tell... I got university credit (well, 6 credit... I'm not an expert - I'm more into politics and social style...) for what I'm saying.

@billy1212ist Well, the size depend a bit of the individual... Some Neandertal found are said to be near 6'6'' while some are quit small. The 5'5'' is an expected size find with a relatively small sample with large variation, nothing great ;) And, however how you want to put it, it's still a cousin... But I think it was relatively near archaic form of homo sapien - just look at Amud 1 and compare to Mladeč ;) It is near enough...

@therrydicule *What is,the volt,and Ape and Neanderthal,foreheads were NOT large.Neanderthal carried the brain more in the back of the scull.Simply look at the sculls of each,no"large forehead".And in comparison to human,does appear a bit flat,although their brain was as big,they were just learning to use it.

@therrydicule the closest honest dipiction of a Neanderthal would be the Wagabu in Quest for fire. In addition I believe that the reason so many people hallucinate seeing a Bigfoot is that it harkens back to the fear we had of the sasquatch looking neanderthal which preyed on us and stole our women.
