Eric cantona is right england has alot of talent but these talent are being overlooked and we are buying foreign players. and too many i have nothing against players from abroad but to have one or two english or brittish players in some teams is very bad no wonder england look lost in the national games. in the past england played good passing football. WHY??????

if some of the best French players play in the premier league then why don't the English players who are not good enough to make a Premiership sides starting eleven move abroad to the French, German, Italian, Spanish leagues? The Premiership must have the best players in the world to be the best league!

@McXZealot I understand what you mean. I was a bit too rash in my original comment. He has a point and wasn't trying to be hypocritical. Thanks for the response.

He's right, what he means is to let people from the country play in the national league in order to build strong "national" teams for euro and world cups...
-
I think he means that we need to stop importing talent 'to make the league bigger/better' in order to grow English talent in order for the country to succeed on a national level. It was also a league when Eric was playing that had many more english players at the time.
As an example Manchester City only have 2 consistent English First XI players (Joe Hart and James Milner) and the rest are foreign.

@swansong200 be like barca? barcelona´s best player now is an argentine, before him a brazilian and a Cameroonian, before them another brazilian, before that brazlian was another little crazy brazilian called romario...no good team grows great players only good players...great ones are always imported...english players will always be decent players nothing more nothing less...

@SensationsSsSsS Indeed but they were all borned in France, they are all French people. It's note like Nani, Nasri, Anelka, or Berbatov, you can't compare both situations
