Superman (also known as Superman: The Movie) is a 1978 superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Richard Donner directed the film, which stars Christopher Reeve as Superman, as well as Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder, Marlon Brando, Glenn Ford and Ned Beatty.

The film depicts the origin of Superman, from infancy as Kal-El of Krypton and growing up in Smallville. Disguised as reporter Clark Kent, he adopts a mild mannered attitude in Metropolis and develops a romance with Lois Lane, while battling against the villainous Lex Luthor.

So what I wanted also to know if you could help me on the vid part for edit what edit software are you using and I love the special effects as you were taking of and landing smashing the ground. Hi, I'm blown away. As a big Superman fan and now seeing your vid. I was looking for filming sites of the Superman I & 2. Reason being I'm a collectoor of 1/6 figs I'm getting my Hot toys 1/6 Superman and on my channel I've explored one series which was taking My Leon from hot toys 1/6 fig and showing the viewers with the fig where they film some scenes of the The Professional the movie. I would like your help and permission to use some clips of your Superman vid. Dude your awesome.

Where's the 9 West 57th St. shot? (with the big orange/red "9" out in front of the building). I used to walk past/go into that building a lot when I worked in NYC.

I loved the movie as well. Your video made me realize the importance of scouting for film locations and how the setting is as important as the actors. Christopher reeve was a class act
