schindler was one of the greatest men to live. He even died poor because he spent all of his fortune to keep the innocent lives alive.

Yes, he did good work in saving some lives, but only to make a good list of people that he knew could work, and he knew how to keep himself alive.

Schindler never boasted about what he did - the Jewish people he saved kept his memory alive. He himself died penniless in Frankfurt.

As for a Muslim having regard for Schindler, that is not unusual. I am an Armenian, and I have respect for Saladin. I served with Turks in Bosnia, good men who participated in a NATO operation to stop a genocide from happening again in Europe. Some things, like virtue, are universally understood by all decent people, regardless of their culture or faith.
