28 August 2007 total lunar eclipse, as seen from California. Set to "Eclipse" by Pink Floyd, from their 1994 double live album P•U•L•S•E
My first attempt at moving pictures :) Made with Pinnacle Studio, using a series of still photos. I took 77 photos with my Sony F717 digital camera, starting at 1:48am and ending at 5:30am. I used the best 20 shots to make the composite image shown at the end.

Actually, the song isn't about a solar eclipse, either. The sun and the moon are symbolic of light and dark, good and bad, life and death. Everything good and beautiful in the world is right there in front of us, but it all becomes overshadowed by the dark side of human nature.
