  • We love the deals when buying meat in bulk, too! What I do is package & freeze 1/2 of the raw chicken as you do. The other 1/2 of raw chicken I throw in the crock pot with a quart of chicken stock at bedtime. In the morning I cool and shred the chicken and freeze in recipe sized portions. This is perfect to keep on hand for enchiladas, quesadillas, chicken pot pie or soup, etc. A great time saver! Thanks for another great video! -Kelley
