I took a computer cord, broke off the Pos/ Neg. prongs (leaving of course only the ground prong), and then connected the ground wire of the computer cord to a wire with an alligator clip on one end, plug into a grounded plug.
I attached the alligator clip to aluminum foil, ran some tests, and it conducts the ground perfectly.
All I can say is the results are nothing more than amazing, a true WOW factor.
So if money is tight, you can still ground while sleeping, at the computer, etc.
I hope you get good results! Be sure to test your outlets and make sure they are properly grounded. If they're not (like ours) you'll want to either have an electrician ground at least one of your bedroom outlets, or get a grounding rod to put in the earth outside your bedroom window. Ours is through the window, and I put weather-stripping tape along the window edge to stop some of the cold air (from tiny opening in window) and an extra-thick piece to prevent crushing the (very thin) cord.
@ulysse75 - Yes! We (my husband and I) love the bed pad! He sleeps much better, he says. I agree -He has gone from getting up about 3 times a night (to go the bathroom - prostate problems) to rarely getting up more than once, if at all. (He says "sleeping better" - I tend to think it must have helped reduce inflammation in prostate so he doesn't have to get up and "go" so much). For myself, I notice improved sleep, and less chronic pain related to arthritis and degenerative discs.
I have just last week finished reading this book, and ordered the bed pad for my husband and self - can't wait to see how it works for us! It makes so much sense, when you think about it. My mom thinks it's "silly" - I can't wait to prove her wrong! LOL! (I'm so naughty! Hahaa!)
redelkaudio2...I have been grounding off and on the past week. I am also implementing the recommendations from the book "Lights Out". I have had insomnia for a long time. Making the room dark really helps.

Thx for posting...Verified the water line thing for me ;) I quit driving longhaul mainly due to un-groundedness. Peace
(might like some of the vids I've posted of Dan Winter...semi-related)

I tried going to sleepgrounded-dot-com, but it was a parked domain. Has that site been closed down? Anyplace else the coupon will work?
