  • @zongorista93 Thank you. Yes, I'm myself reading yet another biography of Beethoven. His whole life is an inspiration, and, as you say, I, too obtain courage and faith when needed from Beethoven, his example is inspiration itself, hope you write that book !

  • @lsbrother Well, no, Isbrother. What I said is known as a "Figure of speech'; that is, not to be taken absolutely literaly, (you know, as the Southern Baptists read Genesis). I adore Scarlatti, Bach and Handel. As I do Grieg, Brahms, Vaughn Williams, hell, even Mozart. Kind of like that T.V. dog food commercial: they say their food is so complete, "All you add is love". They didn't mean to say you shouldn't take your dog to the vet, it's just a figure of speech !!!

  • @sprygeoffreya17 I absolute agree with you :-) I can't my life without music of Beethoven to imagine.Every voice from Beethoven bring peace, faith and power in my life. I read every day about Beethoven, (letters, documents, biographies), and I listen his music, if possible. I want to write a book about his life. Thank's a lot your very nice and very true response.

  • @sprygeoffreya17 so Bach's life - and Scarlatti's and Handel's etc etc. were all 'mistakes' !

  • @jsanders841 Also visit my channel , All Gould

  • This is one of his best best live action performances

  • @zongorista93 Thank you ! Wow, I just would'na guessed . Still, from time to time, when I think nobody could be bigger than him, he surprises me again this way, and becomes even bigger ! Without Beethoven, life would be a mistake.

  • @sprygeoffreya17 Beethoven! :-) [Beethoven: Eroica variations, op.35. Beethoven composed this in 1802 (in a follow year Symphony 3. -The "Eroica"). ]

  • Genius!!!

  • Brilliant! What a pity that Glenn Gould stopped giving concerts before I could attend one!
