Salvador Dali
(Figueres 11-05-1904 / 23-01-1989)

Tweeling, maar zijn broer werd dood geboren.
Dali was een excentriek figuur die door de spaanse koning Juan Carlos in de adelstand werd verheven.
Dali en Gala werden markies en markiezin de Dali de Pubol.
Zijn levenslange muze Gala Diakonoff stierf in 1982 op 89-jarige leeftijd.

Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealistic work.
His painterly skills are ofthen attributed to the influence of renaissance masters.
His best known work - the persistence of memory- was completed in 1931.
Dali's expansive repertoire includes film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.
