  • I leave them set in the correct position before the snow falls. If they are frozen up I use a little warm water. Thanks for watching, Keith

  • What do you use to control the speed and direction of the train? I want to get a live steam g scale train but I don't know much about them.

  • The loco is live steam fired by butane gas. The one in this video is controlled by 2 channel radio control - one servo opens and closes the steam regulator and the other controls direction. It is made by a firm in Doncaster, England called Roundhouse Engineering. Another company, Accucraft UK, make similar manual and radio controlled steam locos. Have a look at a website called track-shack. They sell the locos and they start from about £400. Best wishes, Keith

  • Is that sped up? Or is the train really fast?

  • It's the real speed - I had to take a good run at the snow to shift it.

    Thanks, Keith

  • Who's the snowplow made by?

  • A friend of mine Mike Walton scratch built it. His YouTube screen name is ldd55uks if you want to contact him about it.

    Thanks Keith

  • how did you get those switcher tracks to work when they were that caked with snow?

  • Neat video... we to believe in challenging the status quo... Care to see it?

  • thanks for video, very nice

  • Outstanding. Please check my snow plow and sledding operations on Youtube.

    Enjoy.

  • You know, the train sounds like some weird dude going "ahhhhhhhhhhh"...

  • I think you need to have a snow-plough with a sharper 'cutting' angle, so the snow is pushed to the side rather than over the top, because as it is now the snow is simply mounting the plough and weighing it down, where as it should really be sliced and thrown to the side.

  • As good old British Rail would say, "Its the wrong kind of snow". To heavy for spectacular snow ploughing?
