5/6 Tegan & Sara - Moving Camera @ BIYH Video Shoot, Vancouv

Originally, all of us masked people in the audience were supposed to be watching Sara walk back and forth across the stage. Kind of a shame those shots got cut, since it took so freaking long to get all of us the shift our heads back and forth across the auditorium at the same time! My favorite part is in the first take when Tegan moves to the piano and takes the drumsticks with her, and then realizes she doesn't know what to do with them when she's supposed to start playing the piano. :)

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of the release of "The Con," I thought I'd share. Enjoy. (We were asked not to post any pictures or videos of the shoot until after the video was released... so hopefully this has been long enough. :)

I'm the one in white. And black. And gray and red. Heh. Actually, I AM the one on stage on the left behind the piano. And I'm the first one in black to walk in front of the camera from the left side in the boiler room scene. I'm one of the people in red, and am somewhere in the fifth row of the auditorium for the rest of it, but there is pretty much no hope of finding me there. :)

Oh! I had a question as well, were they told to look at each other when Sara sung "I'm not unfaithful but I'll stray?"

lol... yeah, we were wondering that at the time too, because they kept doing it and we had no idea why. so i'm guessing it was in the script. made a little more sense after seeing the final product.

I:31-1:37 was totally in the video.

You know, the part when Tegan looks at Sara like she's worried or unsure.

That's my favourite part of the video-- Tegan's face looks really cute there.
