The year...was 1989:
I was a 15yr old sophomore in High School.
I had just rented METROID and was cleaning house before my dad got home so I could have uninterrupted play.
As I swept the room, I let my Nintendo play the Metroid intro in the background. The sun hit the television so brightly just as I finished cleaning. All was good...
..BUT THEN..
I heard the VERY VERY last part of this title screen for the VERY FIRST TIME in my life. I stopped sweeping And almost cried at it's beauty.

@XAVIER3P0 I don't think they will be making anymore at all like other m because it had such a bad reception. It will likely be prime style or side scroller again.
