Omar Samaha (brother of Va Tech massacre victim, Reema) testifies in front of Virginia State Crime Commission to CLOSE THE GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE. ALL gun purchasers should be required to have a background check before guns are purchased at a gun show. Felons and dangerous individuals should not be able to buy guns (including assault weapons) at gun shows! 35 states, including Virginia, have still not closed their gun show loophole. The ATF says gun shows are the 2nd leading source of crime guns in the United States. CLOSE the gun show loophole to protect Americans!

If my brother or sister got killed at VTECH I'd be on a public NRA broadcast the next day. Don't infringe the rights of law abiding citizens in hopes of somehow preventing crime. Let those college kids carry their legal guns, they could have taken down Cho before he killed that many people. More disarming is not going to solve anything, it'll just infringe our rights and make schools even more dangerous. I've seen a shooting at a gunshow or shooting range, what's your explaination?

Felons don't get their weaponry from gun shows.

Any criminal can get a firearm that is stolen or has been used in a crime for under $50.

The violence problem in America cannot be solved with legislature.

Restricting purchase only effects the law abiding, and ends up making problems worse.

When a criminal can go get a firearm from the bad side of town in 20 minutes, how does it help to make it harder for the average person to have the same level of protection?
