  • Nice sound! Your website is the best uke site ever, thanks! I just started playing about a month ago and as soon I have a decent melody, I'll post a vid too. Cheers.

  • Thanks very much, Chrissyart. I look forward to seeing your vids.

  • oh wait that is a uke, where's the frets?

  • The frets are the same colour as the fretboard. The whole fretboard (including frets) is one lump of plastic.

  • Nice fingerwork!! Sounds great!! But why didn't you upgrade your ABS Flea/Fluke (can't see which) fretboard to a rosewood one? A player with your qualities deserves the better sound of a rosewood board... =)

  • In a word: money. I couldn't even afford a new fluke. I got this one second hand off eBay.

  • BAD ASS!!

  • Hi mate, any chance of the tabs for gogol bordello?

  • hah, you started the same time as me.

  • Im learning the duet wih my brother. Great cover.

  • I'm learning your tab =) of course, I've been teaching myself uke on and off since september, only seriously messing around with it now, so it started out super hard. It's starting to flow more now though :3

  • Amazing! Great Job. I've always said "Picks are for WHIMPS!". Say, I'd love it if you'd give a listen to my podcast. Each uke-tastic episode feature GOBS of bizarre uke tunage. There's a video promo for it right here on you tube or just google the word stretchlinks. Your brother in ukedom -Heinous-

  • no it's not fretless, it's a Fluke brand, so the fretboard is plastic.

  • is that a fretless uke? that's sooo cool! great version of korobeiniki, by the way

  • That's a pity. $250,- is indeed a whole lot of money for a uke. I'm looking(listening) for a good uke to start. Reading your post about "making a mahalo sound like a martin" made me think about buying a mahalo and restring it with nylguts instead of selling my kidneys to be able to raise money for a Flea...
