The 40-year-old diva, who is rumoured to be pregnant, ended up on her backside during a show in Singapore when she slipped over in high heels.

Carey was caught by a male dancer as she toppled backwards just seconds into her 90s hit Make it Happen during a performance at the Singapore Formula 1 event.

After being helped to her feet, Carey joked "I did that on purpose."

She later called an assistant to the stage to remove her towering shoes as she continued singing.
