  • There's no denying that it is indeed a peculiar thing, that you made an egg glue video to a...rap song? Nothing wrong, just weird. Rap doesn't make me want to get up and make egg glue... lol

  • @raisin212k thank you for the comment. i live with the drummer that made the audio. at the time we had just gotten connected to the internet, had a wacky movie editor and a new camera. that's all there is to it. about making egg glue? only make it when you need it. lol!

  • @pbsage nice. was actually hoping for an instructional to make glair from egg whites. make that video. and put a rap song on it, i'll watch it...heh

  • @raisin212k you realize that glair and egg glue are one in the same?

  • @pbsage Well, I cannot say they aren't for certain, but if they really are, then I'm looking for glair made differently. Glair I'm looking for is a clear liquid that seeps out from eggwhites that have been beaten to stiff peaks and left to sit. It's a little different from this, but they're both egg glues.

  • @raisin212k ah, i will try that sometime. is the glair you want to make used as a culinary adhesive?

  • This is the stupidest song I've ever heard.....why the F would I want to listen to some rapper idiot going "yeahhhh" while I'm trying to read text? Useful information though.

  • @pbsage as a matter of fact, the raised gold technique is on one of the videos to the right of this page.

  • @pbsage maybe it is used in culinary fields. however my intended use is to reconstitute gesso sottile for raised gold gilding. it would call for glair and white lead powder. it's calligraphic, rather than furniture or sculpture gilding if u are unfamiliar with the term. its a little different than flat gilding. i can probably make it without seeing a vid, but i looked anyways. u know..sound research n all that stuff

  • @MaylarArt yes, straining is good if you need a fine glue. the glop usually just floats to the top and is easy to scoop out after a night in the fridge. keeps for a long time.

  • haven't checked this in a while, so pleased for the comments. and i have no answer for those that don't know why they would/would not want to listen to the song. beat seemed to go along with beating egg whites. just mute the music, then you can just get the directions.
