The truth is that Joe Zawinul liked Vince Mendoza's arrangements of his music and went on tour with him and the WDR Bigband in Germany.

Hard to watch this. Wonderful musicians here of course, but it's still pretty much awful. Joe's music is HARD! He would be mortified by this. The phrasing is just way over the orchestras head. No meaning is coming through at all. Just goes to show that you can have 100 quality people up there and it still doesn't even begin to equal one Joe Zawinul. But to be fair, I haven't seen a tribute yet that he would have liked.

I'll sort tha out for you asap, should be easy although its not my favorit Peter Tiehuis but another guitarist being bound to this orchestra for a long time......
