No way the RE20 sounds like that. It's either broken or your not positioning it right. Maybe you had the high pass filter on?

@willkarling It just sounds like the gain wasnt brought up to level when you tracked them, IMO.

I'm sad you didn't put the D6 in the drum like the "instructions state that comes with that mic"! The D6 "In" the dum is the best! reasons being it produces the LEAST distortion! and the response is a DEEP tone(32-50hz) yet articulate NATURAL high mid (3-5K) Beta 52 is just too boxy (250-400hz) and gives off harsh Highs.

@DubsMood yes, I loose all of the low frequency with it... I will buy another one new clickly ^^

dont want to be rude but i thought they all sounded pretty weak. ive use a couple of them and got a much better sound. maybe its just cause they are further away than i am used to.

@spomajom I understand but I have no EQ on all, If I equilazed the D6 It will sound better! But I want to do a flat mic test.
