Deborah Lilly Talks with Mandy Nolan about Woolworths. A rambling and funny interview about Woolworths, carparks, Barrier fencing and babies. Mandy points out that corporate bullying is alive and well. If You or I tried to fence off the street for six months to build a pool we would be fined, but big corporations can get away with it. This is bullying a small country town.
Even though some of the older local families may be pro Woolworths ironically it is their businesses which stand to lose.
SOrry I wrote the last sentence wrong it should read :-
Dont get trapped in the hypnotic mantras promulgated by the corporations, such as "there is no other way ,Big is best There is no way to stop them" etc.
Use this mantra . I am powerful and can change the world for good and great benefit : community is the new power on the planet

it is a pity to hear that people like podcentral have a victim like view of this " I have no option but to shop there etc". There are always options we always have a new way to do things. Dont get trapped in the hypnotic mantra promulgated by the corporations. I am powerful and can change the world for good and great benefit

@epodcentral (continued) Unfortunately I have no other option then to shop there, as they have no competition grocery wise...funnily enough they seem better at stocking their shelves up with merchandise rather than food which is what their core business is all about. Mandy, I love your work and again you show how absolutely intelligent, awesome, etc etc you are. I really enjoyed watching this, thanks for sharing.

We have a somewhat similar thing happening where I live. There is one supermarket here (iga) and they have been rapidly taking over the non grocery lines that the local traders have had for years. eg. they are now selling dvds, toys, and other speciality stuff that other local traders have sold for years. Because it is such a small market the behaviour of this supermarket has made quite a noticeable dent in the profitability of quite a few of our local businesses.

Try the tabloid news approach put "breast" as a tag and this video would probably get more views.
