I had no idea AFI went up against Green Day for that award. I'm a huge fan of both bands but I'm glad AFI won(: GD win awards all the time but you never hear about AFI winning big awards like this.(:

i really love afi and im happy they won the award...
but i have to admit that i The Kill was a better video
it just had so much symbolism and i never really viewed miss murder more than just a music video
but (on a side note)
afi has produced really amazing videos (in fact, i think miss murder is one of their weaker ones)

@CMXXXPUNK The vote speak for them selves. Red hot chili peppers is an amazing band, so is greenday and 30 second to mars. AFI's fan base is just larger and more involved then other bands. AFI one of the best best, as is rhcp

no i think you suck..i dont know you and you sound like you suck your a whiny girl...i dont have a problem with you being emo because i basically dont care...and why name your band after 3 letters thats thinking out of the box..oh wait, a fire inside yes that makes sense because to think there music has any depth to it means there is a fire inside your head..who cares if their name is a vegetable to judge them based on that just shows how narrow minded & obnoxious you are..try listening plankton
