A 10' deep, approx 700 acre lake with Walleye, Northern, Perch, and Pumpkinseed. There are also some scattered Trout, and Catfish. I have caught every one of the ones mentioned. Northern are caught mostly though. We have a 40' pier, and my old trusty canoe. Rice Lake goes into Little Rice Lake, then over a very small man-made dam, down a 4/10 mile long creek to Lake Superior.
well i have lived on this lake for over 30 years. It is now overfished, average pike is a hammerhead at about 12 inches. Walleye are almost extinct. Most the land now is fenced in with no trespassing signs everywhere and it is only getting worse. The road to the lake is called a "corduroy" because of its surface and holes and dust you wouldt believe! If I had my way I would move!
