Dude I have the Phenom ii 925 and I still think its pretty damn fast!
Dont get an i5 its more expensive and then you have to overclock it to match or beat the speeds of the almighty phenom ii. If you are in need of a fast cpu then get an i7 but other than that this cpu is amazing.

That is good news. It is indeed very fast. Stock speeds are already 3.4 GHZ.

..well with my setup and everything maxed out i get 80-100 FPS.
...The Phenom II x4 965 is a very very fast cpu!
