This was a 21 year Birthday Party for Angie at a residence in Menlo Park, CA.

Is it me or do Mexican people really know how to party?

Something crazy happened to me during my setup on this one. My old trusty QSC MX1500a amp started smoking like it was on fire inside during a sound check before guests arrived. I was in panick mode for a while. Luckily I had my even older flea market Gem Sound amp with me as a backup. The Gem Sound passed with flying colors and saved the day. I was too nervous to even think about filming until much later when I started to feel more comfortable.

The next day a bought a Crown XLS 402 from Guitar Showcase (not Center) in Campbell. The guy asked what speakers I used and first suggested an amp more expensive, but also said that this one will do. Maybe I'll have make a video of me taking apart the QSC and see what kind of burnt up stuff we can find in there.
