  • durtled: your way off mate. suck through turbo setups have been around long before BOV's and intercoolers. BOV do nothing for detenation sorry.

    This mixes the fuel BEFORE the turbo and the fuel/air combination is cooler than just air. If an intercooler is added between the turbo compressor and the intake, the fuel would pool in the intercooler creating a bomb.

    I like your misguided theories mate, but you have no idea sorry.

  • @tim510australia No need for BOV when you have a suck through setup. Its the same principle as when choking a vacuum cleaner, its motor will actually run FASTER because theres no air inside to slow down the fan blades.

  • @phiromaniaco That never happens, see, old mustangs used this setup without any problems.

  • old skool L20B's can make TONS of hp's if properly fed. and they can take lots of punishment. the earliest L20Bs need nothing but some real pistons and a serious top end/ head combo. make 300 DRIVEABLE horsepower sucking a good carburetor, and no EFI,MFI,MPI or any other elec fuel controls- i plan to use a custom exhaust manifold, downdraft 4-barrel, T04B, no intercooling, and an a BOV. the U60 crankshaft is full-house and bullet-proof. short rod= U60/L28T pistons or long rod=N85/Z20E pistons.

  • @cw147 i dont have any videos yet but i have many many pics of the full build. i made it as a burnout car but i thought why not make it a street/strip car also i have had 1mm planed off the head to run less boost that will also have more power with the setup, it has a stock skyline r32 efi fuel pump but the only problem is that the setup is made for warm weather in new zealand here we have 17 degrees Celsius on a good warm day so the fuel freezes on the way from the carbys
