wow like...i'm in the same situation but this guy lives a few minutes away lol. i'm scared that if i really start liking him & we arrange to meet...how would i tell my mother? she will be so upset & idk if i should leave him alone or talk to him & not arrange for us to meet..

@downtoearthchick I think all of this depends on if you feel safe and how old you are. Please do not arrange to meet anyone anywhere, near or far if you do not feel safe. Especially if he's local. That may put you or your family at risk. Inbox me if you need to. & Good luck, chick!

@MsSassyLaRue Sorry, I was just trying not to ramble in the vid. My silly name change is not important. I wanted to brand myself with her words after I heard her message though.
Yes, ma'am. When I heard that song I was taken back. Her words meant a lot for me coming into college. Everything I sign up for is "Young, Gifted, Blaq" cause the "ck" doesn't usually fit. lol.

@MsSassyLaRue Oh & also she is very influential as a Black female jazz musician. Her legacy paved the way for jazz musicians such as myself. Respect. ^_^ Okay, Im done now. lol
