Paint a Rainbow that's green,, that’s yellow on the edge, of what I can see, make a prism of glass that will shatter before me. When I look at myself, I know only what came before me, I know nothing of the future, only the past. Paint it pink paint it blue, paint a part that’s all you.

@JohnnySwitchblade I know what your talking about. I crank this full blast every morning in my office and my ears are bleeding by the songs end. Still one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. It just totally rocks and I love the words.

I wish they had mixed this better, it's a great tune but it hurts my ears with the loud, piercing guitars that nearly drown out the vocals.

Agree the mix puts a lot of people off ,but its a great song.
It could have been quite a pop song I guess ,but remains my all time favourite MBV song
