@HaloFreak0444 Because of the X-Games. Plus, Tony was always more socially engaging than Rodney and handled the crowds better. Tony basically took it upon himself to be the ambassador of skateboarding and raise it to the level it has now with the mainstream. Rodney has always been a loner, skating late at night, by himself, creating new insane tricks. If you ask Tony he will tell you Rodney is the king.

Seriously, most of the stuff he does are tricks no other pro can never even dream about doing. It's like Natas and the fire hydrant. Go give it a try. Or 1 000 000 tries. You'll never make it, no matter who you are.

I reckon he'll put out just one more video. I saw a recent interview and it sounds like he's struggling to get the footage together for it, we all get old and skateboarding takes its tole on the body. I hope Rodney doesn't get frustrated and finds peace with this next highly anticipated part.

This is so cool to see...I grew up skating in the 80's & followed the Bones Brigade and all the others. No disrespect to Hawk, Cab, Mountain, Hosoi etc. but to me Rodney was always in a league of his own - kinda like the Michael Jordan of skateboarding. He was really playing all by himself. It always bummed me out that everyone knows who Tony Hawk is but no one ever heard of Rodney Mullen...it's really cool to see him get the recognition he deserves...especially from his peers.
