  • Thankyou for posting these videos, my son who is 11 has been diagnosed with Sydenhams Chorea 3 weeks ago. Our doctors as fantastic as they are had not seen this before therefore could not give us a lot of information so we are using your videos as a reference. If you happen to have any other short videos of different time periods we would love to see them. Once I stopped crying after first watching your daughter I now have hope and some relief of whats to come. Thank you again.

Go to my youtube channel and you can see all her vids that I posted while she was sick. Recovery took about 5 months but she did fully recover. wemove.org is a great site that parents post their journeys through this sickness, I found it to be really helpful and full of information

  • We are taking it one day at a time. I am really hoping I can get her to do some more videos, because info on this can be a little hard to come by. I really hope our experience can help others out there that are going through this. Thank you so much for asking.

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos. I am a medical student (about to begin my intern year in pediatrics next summer) and I just had a patient diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever. Your videos were educational for me, as well as inspirational for the patient and family. So glad your daughter has recovered so well! Thank you again.

  • is she recovered now?

  • thank you for posting your videos. to a med student (me) these are invaluable. so happy to see the progression

  • hope she gets better soon, keep us updated

  • My prayers are with u and your family with a speedy recovery. Stay blessed

  • my daughter was diagnosed with sydenhams chorea 2 weeks ago and it has been nothing but heartache she just turned 4 on the 23rd of april. is there any advice you can give me to get through this and how long the recovery process usually is...any advice would be great. thanks alot for the videos

  • I just wanted to send you some virtual good vibes during everything you're going through. I had the same condition a few years back and remember how hard it was and how awful I felt. It is awesome to see people spreading word about diseases that don't have much info. I promise it gets better, hang in there! Out of curiosity, have you noticed anything that helps with controlling the movements? Having my feet rubbed was the only thing that lessened mine and I've wondered what works for others.
