@unequalledrage With a new drummer, they would probably turn back to a metal band and would be loved by all. BUT Metallica played it perfectly when they were young...they got commercial as most Americans would do for the money. I'm not knockin it. It is just a fact. Metallica is now rock and roll and never did reach the status of a thrash band. The 90s hit with grunge and "thrash" bands had to do something to make money. Metallica made the right choice, their new music just sucks because of it.
