I'm American and not really offended. He made a bit of a stretch to make a playoff game more significant, which I'm not really sure why he had to do. Nonetheless, I think more Americans are offended by the "HNIC" abbreviation of Hockey Night in Canada...Americans see those four letters as something COMPLETELY different. Actually, those who would be offended by that don't watch hockey, and therefore don't know about it. What day is this?

I am sorry i cannot list every single tragedy that has occurred. I am not comparing the holocaust and 9-11 i am stating that both resulted in death of innocent civilians and thus should be remembered.

I never said "forget". Getting over it means getting past it. Again, as terrible and wrong as 9/11 was, it was retaliation, the holocaust was genocide. As such, anyone who compares 9/11 to the holocaust is beyond ignorant and, respectfully, should not be judging others.
