The Ceramic Hobs at Beatherder Festival/getting unplugged!! (Last ever Ceramic Hobs gig with pStan)

2 minutes in the sound guy comes on to announce, "This band is finished now for tonight, erm, they're crap, they're off, they're going away. Really, they are awful!" after a bit of a row about how the gig ended they later received apologies, food and beer.

after spending ages getting the van through the mud then spending ages hanging around in the rain and then spending ages setting up he was so narked at having to stop so soon that he never played with the Hobs ever again & it's looking like that decision is a very permanent one :(

good call i say, they just couldn't play, ok freedom of expression, but i think cutting them off saved the whole festival from having its rep dragged through the mud. I am glad there is some quality control somewhere.

I am the Entertainments Officer for the Beat Herder and District Working Mens And Social Club and the man that booked the Hobs to play at Beat Herder .

The boy that ejected the band is a hired hand working for a stage hire company and nothing to do with the WMC and never will be .

He has been barred from the Club . If it was a Conservative Club we might have given him a pay rise - but it isn't so we didn't .

@sweetknuckle Stoat 7" (88) Sore & Broken 7" (96) and Oz Oz Alice CD (2010) are the only Hobs discs I am entirely happy with myself and I also think we lost it for most of the noughties.

Sad how you still have issues with being asked to leave the band almost ten years ago, get over it. Had year after year of trolling from you now you sad twisted fuck.!
