Well said. Many 80's videos are full of metaphores, subtexts, multi-meanings. Such as Cars video for "Drive" directed by actor Timothy Hutton. State hospitals. "The Shining." Sylvia Plath. Depression. Schizophrenia. Catatonia. Sedation. Suicide. Just a few free associations on that disturbing video.
