Hey - I have this camera, no problem capturing... no problems at all actually but I'm curious... I edit with Sony Vegas but how do YOU get the AMAZING quality of it? All I need to figure out is how to capture the best possible quality.
-
@wokutuner That doesn't help, I just cannot capture it with Sony Vegas capture software, it shows that my cam haven't been found or something like that. So I downloaded the Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and now I'm capturing clip by clip from the video tape, but QUALITY IS A PIECE OF SHIT ANYWAYS FOR SOME REASON!?!?! Any help? Maybe you have your Skype contacts and you could help me to sort this problem out? I would be very thankful! Waiting for your reply!

@GladstoneBerrics Setting ffdshow video decoder:
1. Download and install ffdshow
2. In start menu open "ffdshow" -> "Video decoder configuration"
3. Choose "Codec" tab
4. Find in the table, under "Format" column, "MPEG2" row.
5. In "Decoder" column choose "libavcodec" for "MPEG2".
6. Choose "Apply" and "OK"

@GladstoneBerrics at the time i had an older pc without hd editing software. But then i got a mac and it just worked. I had to load drivers onto my pc and upload using the software the camera came with. But ive used it on another pc with the new version of vegas and premiere and it works.

@FortunateFew why especially if you have a pc? can you not upload it on?
