the verse at the end was taken from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. There was a version of this book on the titanic, it is rumored to be encrusted in 1,500 precious stones set in gold

The pictures in here are on loan by the titanic instuite, and the ones of the ship at the bottom of the ocean are from ghosts of the abyss. I am well aware the james cameron 1997 movie is a work of historicial fiction
I was 8 when I got my first titanic book, it was Robert Ballard's Exploring the Titanic. I was interested at that point and sought out anything to do with Titanic

@TheMaddogjake That was made up for the movie. The ship did carry a jewel encrusted copy of the rubaiyat.

Very well done. You've captured the essence of the Titanic in this video. So many souls lost and now they are talking about bringing some of it up to be auctioned?  It's a GRAVE SITE.

Have they totally lost their minds? Leave the wreck alone! I have ancestors who died there and I don't want them or the ship disturbed.
