Farnsworth provides insight into the November 2009 visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Brazil. "Brazils growing influence on the global stage means that leaders with whom the president of Brazil chooses to meet gain greater credibility and indeed legitimacy through those meetings," says Farnsworth. "This is occurring just at the same time as much of the rest of the international community is attempting to work to isolate Iran based on that countrys nuclear ambitions as well as some of the activities that Iran has been engaged in the promotion of global terrorism including some activities in the Western Hemisphere itself."

  • 3-is a American saying that he wont tolarete iran "meddling" in latin america???? the us has done some strong "meddling" in latin american and iran supporting dictators and other nasty meddling.

Iran wants to improve trade and relations, thats not meddling,

4- The usa is torturing in the Middle East, chine , israel, south arabia , russia , uk and mani other are not respecting human rigths. do you want us to tell 3/4 of the presidents that came here the same? including obama and brown???

  • That arrogance is making USA and UK fall so fast.

lets go point by point so you short side people can see.

1- The president of IRAN dont need to gaing legitimy, even obama recognize he as the president, the only place were he needs that is inside iran, internatinal politics cant influence that.

2- USA + UK + some of europe IS NOT THE REST OF THE INTERNETIONAL COMMUNITY.

lots of other countries dont like the tatics of isolate others, they prefer to engage, like brazil

  • You should be concern with human rights in the middle-east. Brazil is a signatory country that follow inspections and probably the only country that's have laws in the Constitution forbidding anything like that, based on the SALT I (1971) requested by Mr. Henry Kissinger. And we aren't Spanish, we aren't formally a Latino country.

  • janusmagi I completely agree with you

  • You´ve epic failed to take care of your own business and now you come here trying to teach us how we should do it? In your dreams, peter pan, in your dreams...
