More Info: www.rapidnadion.com (Description below)

A 30" Academy-Minicraft model Titanic sinks at night. The model weighs approximately five pounds empty and has nine semi-watertight compartments inside. Total sinking time is approximately two minutes, though this video only shows the final plunge.

The model is retrieved after each sinking by fishing line tied to the bow.

RECOMMENDED: Full-screen viewing. The lighting conditions aren't the best, but they are likely historically authentic.

Do a search for "Titanic composite" at Google video to see this model during the daytime.

  • what do you weight them with? pennies? coins? fishing weights?

  • @T6LERC Sorry for the late reply; the ballast in this model is lead taken from melted-down fishing sinkers and secured to the keel.

  • How do you get these models to float? i know that you have to weight them or something?

  • @T6LERC Yep - they need to be ballasted properly. Check out our facebook page for pics.

  • How did you make it spin around? :\

  • @MalaFiumanka Already answered your question a month ago. It was an accident due to the current in the water at this location.

  • @Rapidnadion o thats ok its still really cool

  • @specops987 what about war films, war reenactors, true story movies/plays/tv shows where people died? That's a rather bold and unnecessarily wide blanket statement to throw over all videos...

  • im sorry but i thumbs downed the video becuase i think u shouldnt recreated things where poeple had died

  • how do you make the models?

  • you should make a new one and put tiny furniture in it. and then put lifeboats on it and break it in half then tie it together so when you pull the string it breaks in half and also put the camera on it again. tat would be cool!

  • whoa it spins around O.o
