For Your Eyes Only (1981) is the twelfth spy film in the James Bond series, and the fifth to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The screenplay takes its characters from and combines the plots of two short stories from Ian Fleming's collection For Your Eyes Only: the title story and "Risico". It also includes elements inspired by the novels Live and Let Die (the keelhauling sequence), Goldfinger (the identigraph sequence) and On Her Majesty's Secret Service (the opening at the graveyard).

  • It appears I've never seen this movie.

And I thought I've seen each movie at least four to five times... oO

  • There was no better Bond, there is no better Bond and there will never be a better Bond

  • I'll ski on your lunch if I want!

  • Amazing bond film, amazing gunbarrel but Roger Moore in this one is too old he is about 53 I think

  • A better film than this rather weak trailer makes out...

  • @alexp8654 I think it’s Roger Moore’s best James Bond film, but for best overall, I’d go with either “From Russia with Love” or “Goldfinger” (clichéd choices, I know).

  • @josephbevan96 i didnt read live and let die but the book thunderball they are supposed to be dragged over the reef but the bomb bond planted under the boat goes off in time in the movie thunderball they jump off the boat before it hits the reef and explodes live and let die the movie has the dragging I dont know the book

  • @spacepatrolman No this is from the book Live and Let Die... Live and let die ends with the keelhaul
